Eugene Levinson, recently retired principal bass of the New York Philharmonic, enjoys a worldwide career as soloist and teacher. On this coming January 25th, he will conduct a free admission masterclass at 7:30 pm on the main campus of Florida International University's School of Music in the Instrumental Hall for all to attend.
In 1985 Mr. Levinson joined the New York Philharmonic and has appeared frequently as a soloist with the orchestra. , Mr. Levinson is delighted to now be able to devote his time exclusively to teaching, publishing, and influencing the broader discourse of bass pedagogy. This time, students and professionals are invited to attend and share a special musical moment with our celebrated artist of the month.
