Double Bass Masterclass at FIU's Recital Hall with Milton Masciadri
On Wednesday September 27th at 5 pm in the Recital Hall at FIU School of Music, we are honored to host a double bass masterclass with Milton Masciadri. As you know, Mr. Masciadri is a world-renowned artist of the double bass and has travelled around the world playing his double bass with many orchestras and for many audiences. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay he is currently Professor of Double Bass at the University of Georgia Hugh Hodgson School of Music. On Wednesday Sept 27th, just out the plane coming from Sao Paulo, Mr. Masciadri has gracefully accepted to conduct a masterclass for bassists of all levels at the School of Music on the main campus of Florida International University. We have included his bio below for those interested to read it and to be impressed. It will be a great opportunity for all to come, play and meet a great double bass artist and friend.
